The experience achieved over the years and the continuous investments, not only in the production facilities, but also in analysis tools, product characterization and control instruments, have allowed SAV to develop a deep know-how about molten metal cleanliness, casting defects and chemical-physical behaviour of aluminium alloys.
Flexible production facilities and advanced instruments for analysis and testing, allow to produce alloys according to international standards and customized alloys with a higher quality level with the added value of the guarantee of assistance of the internal metallurgical laboratory.
The laboratory is able to provide quick feedbacks regarding defects in castings and chemical-physical properties of the supplied alloys.
Moreover, based on customer's request, S.A.V. S.p.A. is able to determine the mechanical properties of each produced lot, as well as to carry out research and development activities aimed at optimizing the physical behaviour of the molten metal and the mechanical properties of the alloy.
